Sweet wedding table
Wedding sweet table and Candy bar can be organized on your own. In fact, it is not difficult at all and quite budget, especially if you understand the subtleties of this “sweet” case.
What to fill?
There is one fundamental difference between a candy bar and a sweet table: the first one consists of a wide variety of candies, but there can be absolutely any desserts on the sweet table, including candies. In general – a real paradise for sweet teeth!
Multicolored lollipops (including sticks), marmalades, peanuts in chocolate, “pebbles”, chocolates, jelly candies of various shapes, marshmallows are suitable for filling the candy bar.
Filling a sweet table is generally an unlimited choice of all kinds of tasty things! This includes any pastries, fruit marshmallows, keypops, macaroons, cupcakes, puffs, cookies, donuts with and without fillings, nuts, dried fruits, honey treats, cakes and pies, fruits and berries, gingerbread, popcorn and even ice cream! The list goes on and on!
It is important to supplement the dessert table with enough drinks. It can be fruit drinks, fruit drinks, lemonades, tea and coffee, milk. Soda can be served in small bottles or closed cups with tubes – it is practical and beautiful.
Where to get so much sweets?
You can make sweets under the order from private pastry chefs, but it will cost a lot. It is easiest to order the filling of the sweet table in the restaurant where the celebration is planned, but in this case the choice of desserts can be quite limited. If you wish, you can bake treats on your own, but this is a very time-consuming process, requiring at least minimal skills. And you can contact the store where there is a wholesale confectionery. As a rule, in such stores a huge range and reasonable prices – this will significantly save, especially if you plan to have a lot of guests at the wedding.
Keep in mind that you need at least 3 kinds of desserts if you are talking about a sweet table and at least 5 kinds of candies for a candy bar. Sweets need about 80 grams per hectare of one guest. Small treats – at least two things per person, large – one at a time.
Making a sweet table is also a very important point of preparation. It should fit into the theme of the wedding and not seem like an alien element. This effect can be achieved with the help of correctly selected color range of snacks, style of dishes and furniture. Even a tablecloth can play a key role! And the table can be not only a table in the literal sense – it can be an old chest of drawers, a coffee shop, a trolley on wheels, and even a piano! In general – freedom for fantasy!
Sweet treats (especially pastries) quickly become chapped and dry. Therefore, sweets are best covered with special caps. By the way, this will not only preserve a decent kind of desserts, but also protect them from midges in the warm season, if the sweet table is open-air.
In the summer, the Candy Bar must be placed in the shade, where it is cooler. You need to take care of dry and wet wipes for guests so that you can wipe your hands. In addition, it is advisable to prepare disposable containers or paper bags so that guests can take home refreshments after the wedding.
